Alopecia

A condition affecting men and women in which hair is lost from the scalp, causing bald spots. Can be localised or total.

Animexil®

The Aminexil® molecule was selected from more than 150 tested molecules, over the course of 10 years of research in L'Oréal Advanced Research Laboratories. Aminexil® helps to prevent the accumulation and hardening of collagen in the hair follicle.

Anagen (phase)

The first phase in the life cycle of the hair. This phase is also known as the 'Growth phase'. During this stage Hair grows freely. The hair bulb and follicle are connected to the dermal papilla (deep in the scalp) allowing nutrients to be received. A hair will usually grow for 3 to 5 years.
